How do I become a member?
On the front page below the log-in box find, "click here," to sign up.
Enter the username you would like to have on itsasickness (Up to 16 characters)
Enter your email address, a short bio, zipcode, sex, and birthday and click [create new account]
How do I add a photo to my profile?
Click [profile] on the navigation bar just right of the logo OR click your username in the top left.
Click the [edit account] button on the left side.
Browse your computer for the image you'd like to use by clicking the [browse] button.
Make sure to scroll down to the [save changes] button and click to upload the photo.
How do I join an obsession group?
Now that you're logged in you'll have to pick an obsession group to be a part of. There must be something you're obsessed with. Pick one of the submitted obsessions from the splash page (these will change with every refresh) or click [see all obsessions], located at the top right.
Once you've found one that you like, all you have to do is click [join this obsession]
I can't find a group for my obsession, how do I start one of my own?
Click [add obsession] in the upper right corner of your screen.
How do I add content (images / articles / video)?
First go to the obsession you want to add content to (become a member of that group if you aren't already) and then click [add content +].
Are you adding an image, an article, or a video? Check the appropriate box and click [next].
Add an image:
Upload an image:
Check off [upload an image] and click [next] 
Click [choose image] and select the image you want to upload from your computer and MAKE SURE to click [upload] once you've selected it. This will open up the cropping tool.
Use the cropping tool to decide what part of your image will show in a thumbnail. (in some cases you will be able to use the whole image)
Give the image a title and a description.
Check the box [add this image to obsession logo queue] so your photo can be voted to be the best representation of the entire group and the default image for the groups info page.
When you are done click preview to make sure everything looks ok, then click publish to make it live.
Link to an image:
Check off [link to an image] and click [next]
Drop in the URL of the image you want to use. (note: currently photos found on flickr, imageshack, photobucket, and picasa are supported)
Give the image a title and a description.
Check the box [add this image to obsession logo queue] so your photo can be voted to be the best representation of the entire group and the default image for the groups info page.
Add an article:
Writing your own piece
To write your own original article check off [create an article] and click [next]
Give your article a title and add an image to it if you like (REMEMBER to click [upload]) and write your essay in the description field.
When you are done click preview to make sure everything looks ok, then click publish to make it live.
Linking to a piece on another website
If you find an article someone else has written, or that you've already written on another website and would like to add it to the obsession group, check off [link to article] and click [next].
Paste in the URL of the article/blog post/etc. that you want to add to the obsession group
This will allow you to choose a thumbnail from that URL to go with the article. Select the right image by clicking the arrows at the bottom of that box.
If there is no appropriate image, or you don't want to include one, check off [include no image with this article]
Some of the article should automatically appear in the description box, if this does not happen you may have to copy and paste in some of the article yourself from the remote page.

Add a video:
Check off [video] and click next.
Paste in the URL of the video you would like to add to the obsession group (Note: currently videos found on archive.org, blip.tv, dailymotion, google, guba, imeem, last.fm, live video, metacafe, myspace, revver, sevenload, spike tv, tudou, twistage, ustream.tv, ustream.tv (live streams), vimeo, voicethread, yahoo! music, and youtube are supported)
Give your video a title and a description.
When you are done click preview to make sure everything looks ok, then click publish to make it live.
How do I delete a piece of content that is incorrectly posted?
You are not able to delete anything after it has been published. Once it is uploaded to the site it is there for the world to see. If you made a mistake and posted it in the wrong place or posted the wrong thing, post it again correctly as a separate piece of content and flag the unwanted piece of content for review.
How do I leave an obsession group?
Click [profile] on the navigation bar just right of the logo OR click your username in the top left.
Click the [x] next to the group you would like to leave and you will be asked if you are sure you want to remove it.
Click [remove] and you will no longer be a member of that obsession group.
How do I contact itsasickness?
At the bottom of any page at it's a sickness you can click [contact]
This will open a form that will send an email directly to the staff here at itsasickness.
